    Description

"The current promise of the neurosciences is to valorise the qualities in our environments, which have so far been neglected or left to the individual designer’s sensitivity and creative intuition." Juhani Pallasmaa 2016

Advancements in neuroscience is allowing for a deeper understanding of how the brain functions in relationship to its environment. We would like to explore how neuroscience will influence the future of design.

In the event we will hear from architects, designers and neuroscientists who are using neuroscience to understand how the people interact and interpret the built environment. They will be tying this understanding to how we can create more conscious and human centred design.
