Description
Ahlan Art gallery is pleased to present Mystical Letters, by London based artist, Aadil Abedi.
The solo show at 83 Kinnerton Street, Knightsbridge will feature the newest collection of Abedi’s art pieces, featuring acrylic and ink paintings on canvas. The show will open to VIP’s for a private viewing on the 30th April and to the public on the 2nd May 2015.
Abedi is an acclaimed London-based artist and designer. Contemporary Arabic and Indian influences, alongside rich colours and Swarovski crystals, characterise his work. For Mystical Letters, Abedi has merged calligraphy with mystical concepts from the Sufi tradition - the selfless experiencing and actualisation of the Truth, by means of love and devotion. Through his calligraphy and use of mystical practices, his artwork emanates a mystical aura, with a rich narrative, for the audience to interpret.
Ahlan Art, a London based pop up gallery, has a roster of more than 40 established and emerging artists from across the world, showcasing a range of modern, contemporary and classical art. As well as exhibitions, Ahlan Art are working closely with artists to create a new narrative for Islamic Art.
