    Description

**Special guest speaker - Peter Donohoe, internationally-acclaimed concert pianist**

Following on the success of Music into Words' launch event in February 2016, we are delighted to present a half-day mini conference exploring the wide variety of writing about classical music today - from programme notes to academic writing, concert reviews to musicians writing about music, and much more besides.

The event will consist of two panels of 4 speakers each, followed by audience discussion/Q&A. There will be plenty of time for networking and socialising and opportunities to "meet the speakers". The event promises to provoke lively and stimulating debate.
