Calling all musicians! Join us for our first ever competition for voice and all instruments. Free choice of repertoire - pick your best piece to perform and receive feedback from our adjudicators. Medals will be awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd places. Certificates for all competitors.
This class is for a playing level of approximately Grade 4+. There is a time limit of one piece of up to 4 minutes. The venue has an upright piano. This class is open to all ages.
If you require an accompanist on the day, please get in touch with our Festival Accompanists Chris Dann or Alexandra Kremakova. You are welcome to bring your own accompanist to the event.
Nathan Holder is a musician and writer based in London. He is the author of I Wish I Didn't Quit: Music Lessons. He received his masters in Music Performance from Kingston University in 2017 winning the MMus Prize for Outstanding Achievement and tours around Europe as a saxophonist playing at various events and functions. He wishes he didn’t quit his piano lessons when he was younger.
