Description

Calling all musicians! Join us for our first ever competition for voice and all instruments. Free choice of repertoire - pick your best piece to perform and receive feedback from our adjudicators. Medals will be awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd places. Certificates for all competitors.

This class is for a playing level of approximately Beginner to Grade 3. We have a class for higher grades too. The venue has an upright piano. This class is open to all ages.

If you require an accompanist on the day, please get in touch with our Festival Accompanists Chris Dann or Alexandra Kremakova. You are welcome to bring your own accompanist to the event. Please bring a music stand if required.

Adjudicated by Nathan Holder.

Nathan Holder is a musician and writer based in London. He is the author of I Wish I Didn't Quit: Music Lessons. He received his masters in Music Performance from Kingston University in 2017 winning the MMus Prize for Outstanding Achievement and tours around Europe as a saxophonist playing at various events and functions. He wishes he didn’t quit his piano lessons when he was younger.

  • I have not received my ticket via email. What should I do?

    The first thing to do is check your spam/junk filters and inboxes. Your tickets were sent as an attachment and can be thought of as spam by some email services. Alternatively, you can always find your tickets in your Billetto account that you can access in the browsers or the dedicated Billetto app. For more help with this, read here.

  • I wish to cancel my ticket and receive a refund. What should I do?

    The approval of refunds is entirely at the event organiser’s discretion, and you should get in contact with the event organiser to discuss what options are available to you.   • I have registered on the waiting list, what happens now?

    If more tickets become available you will be notified (by email) amongst others who have joined the list. Purchasing is on a first-come first-serve basis. For more information, read here.
