    Description

In many ways music is the life blood of our city, pulsing constantly through its bars, clubs and festivals. Where music is kept alive, culture thrives and where it is restricted, places lose their colour and warmth, even their life.

Restrictions to music in the form of licensing and planning are threatening London's liveliness and it's livelihood. In this talk, panelists will discuss the significance of music in place-making and place-keeping and how insights in this area might inform better decisions around planning and policy-making for the urban environment.

We'll be hearing from: Alan Davey CBE (Controller, BBC Radio 3 and BBC Proms), Claire Southwick (MD, Primitive Management) and Cllr. Clare Coghill (Cabinet Member for Economic Growth, London Borough of Waltham Forest)

    Venue

Second Home, 68-80 Hanbury St, E1 5JL London
