Join Mumhood and Frame founders Pip + Joan, and special guest, Nutrition and Lifestyle Coach Hannah Richards To find out more about the idea of Metabolic Typing and how you can take the principles in order to formulate your own personalised nutrition plan, which works for your body.
The session will kick off with a 60 minute MumHood Post-Natal Fitness Class. This full-body workout is the perfect way to start back on your journey to full fitness without the need for childcare. An hour of upbeat tunes, to get your sweat on whilst bonding with your bubba!
After the class there will be a 15 minute break to cool down and get your breath back before part 2 at 11.15am.
In part 2, Hannah will talk you through how to eat for a your body type...
Metabolic typing is Based on the understanding that each person has a unique metabolism and that the proportion of macromolecules (proteins, carbohydrates and fats) optimal for one person may not be so great for another… it could even be detrimental to them. It’s hard to know what to eat at the best of times, but metabolic typing aims to help you better understand your body’s needs when it comes to food.
Eating correctly is about looking after the health of your organs, and if this is your focus, your ultimate goal with follow - whether that be weight loss, increased energy or even clearer skin. If your focus is the wring way around, however, you may find yourself deficient in nutrients and experiencing the signs and symptoms of an unbalanced body, which cold result in having the opposite effect - low energy, skin breakouts, sleepless nights, weight gain, moodiness and physical pain.
Tickets are priced at £15 for the 2 hour session.
10am-11am - MumHood Post-Natal fitness class with Frame & MumHood founders Pip + Joan
11.15am-12pm - Talk from Hannah Richards CMTA, CHEK HLC III, FDN, DIP NUT
There will be light refreshments during part 2. Everyone is in the same boat so plenty of opportunity to meet like minded mums and If any time during the session you need to take a break to feed, nurse or change your little one, that's OK!
