Description

Schoenberg's seminal Pierrot Lunaire will be performed as part of Multi-Story Orchestra's expanded chamber music series in the Hay Bale Auditorium. The piece is the story of a moonstruck clown, played by a soprano accompanied by an ensemble of violin/viola, clarinet, flute, cello and piano. He sings 21 poems about love, sex and religion, violence, crime, and blasphemy, and finally returns home with his past haunting him.

With Raphaela Papadakis (soprano) and Christopher Stark (conductor)

Access requirements:

If you have any access requirements as our main entrance is through a stairwell, please get in touch with Tom Kelly, Site Manager for Bold Tendencies tom@boldtendencies.com, so we can ensure we meet your needs by meeting you to come via another (non-public) entrance.

Please note that the entrance to Bold Tendencies has changed this year, so we’ve provided instructions to help below. The performance is taking place on Levels 7/8 of Peckham Car Park, SE15 5HQ. See http://boldtendencies.com/#visit for a map.

Access Bold Tendencies by foot:

Exit out of Peckham Rye station and continue straight ahead through the tunnel with Jenny’s Cafe on your right. Turn left and cross over Rye Lane, continuing straight towards Peckhamplex Cinema, passing Santander on your right. Take the staircase directly next to the cinema on the right to enter Bold Tendencies. There may be a queue for Bold Tendencies but you can pass this with your ticket(s) for the concert. Continue up the staircase until you come out onto the roof of the car park. From the roof, veer diagonally right until you see a ramp which takes you down to concert levels 7/8.

Vehicle access:

There will no longer be parking available on levels 0-10, however there is very limited Pay and Display on level -01. We strongly advise that you do not arrive by car where possible but if necessary, see Southwark Council’s website for more information on local parking options.

FAQ

  • I have not received my ticket via email. What should I do?

The first thing to do is check your spam/junk filters and inboxes. Your tickets were sent as an attachment and can be thought of as spam by some email services. Alternatively, you can always find your tickets in your Billetto account that you can access in the browsers or the dedicated Billetto app. For more help with this, read here.

The approval of refunds is entirely at the event organiser’s discretion, and you should get in contact with the event organiser to discuss what options are available to you. To get in touch with the event organiser, simply reply to your order confirmation email or use the "Contact organiser" form on the organiser's profile. For more help with this, read here.

  • I have registered on the waiting list, what happens now?

If more tickets become available you will be notified (by email) amongst others who have joined the list. Purchasing is on a first-come first-serve basis. For more information, read here.

  • Where do I find a link to an online event?

Check your order confirmation page or order confirmation email. Usually, the organiser of the event provides the details in the order confirmation email or they might send you a follow-up email with a link to their online event. You might also want to read the event description on Billetto where an event organiser should describe how to join the event online. For more information on this, read here.
