Monkey Toast UK Graduation Shows

Jul 26 2018 19:00 - 22:00

The Phoenix, 37 Cavendish Square, Marylebone, W1G 0PP London

Join our latest Level Three and Level Four graduating classes for a night of magical and hilarious improv in a room with functioning air con and theatre lighting.

That's three great shows!

The Level Three class will be taking the classic Chicago style improv form, "The Harold", and they're going to show you how we do it downtown.

Then! The Level Fours will be jumping all over the stage with a long-form show known as "The Armando" as they pour their very hearts onto the stage in the form of funny voices and great choices*. All their improv antics will be inspired by the true life stories of comedian and writer Gemma Arrowsmith - (Tracey Ullman's Show, The Now Show, Bravest Warriors and so many more credits). Gemma has written a load of marvellous comedy in the last few years - including this classic!

Finally - the age old battle between air conditioning and people in a theatre environment - who will win? Hot or Cold? Good or Evil? Laughter or Too Much Laughter?

There's only two ways to find out! Expensive probability modelling and complex simulation or literally come to this gig!

That's right! For the low, low price of money you can see your current or future friends do their first improv performances live on stage in a room that may or may not allow mere mortals to control the local temperatures - as if they were gods.

All the profits we raise will be going to Battersea Dogs and Cats Home.
