After a long pandemic-related pause, Modulate is back in its new home - The Brighthelm Centre.
We are a group of mental health professionals and music producers in Brighton & Hove, UK.
Modulate groups are electronic music jamming sessions using MIDI-synchronised hardware for the benefit of people recovering from mental health challenges.
We hope to help people integrate, rehabilitate and reconnect using sound, collaboration and creativity.
Our vision is to use the most accessible, expressive and intuitive hardware we can find to foster group flow and provide the most rewarding jamming experience.
Wednesday evening on the 9th June will be our first Modulate group since February 2020.
The groups used to run in Mill View Hospital, Hove, for people recovering from acute mental health crises. We always planned to expand the project into the community for people who experience mental health challenges.
Now these groups are more necessary than ever after our prolonged experience of social disconnection.
After a 16-month hiatus, our first group will be a pilot session to test our set-up and find our flow.
This group will be free and limited to 8 attendees who will need to book tickets.
We'll start at 8pm and run for a couple of hours.
Bring your own refreshments. Strictly no alcohol or recreational drugs.
Future groups will happen monthly and have small admission charges to cover the venue hire costs.

I have not received my Modulate (Pilot Session) ticket via email. What should I do?
The first thing to do is check your spam/junk filters and inboxes. Your Modulate (Pilot Session) tickets were sent as an attachment and can be thought of as spam by some email services. Alternatively, you can always find your Modulate (Pilot Session) tickets in your Billetto account that you can access in the browsers or the dedicated Billetto app. For more help with this, read here.

I wish to cancel my Modulate (Pilot Session) ticket and receive a refund. What should I do?
The approval of refunds is entirely at the event organiser’s discretion, and you should get in contact with the event organiser to discuss what options are available to you. Where do I find a link to an online event?
