    Very Special Guest: MODESTEP
    www.facebook.com/modestep

London-based crossover electronic/dubstep act Modestep formed in 2010. The quartet debuted in February 2011 with "Feel Good," a bursting single that reached the Top Ten of the U.K. dance chart and crossed into the Top 40 of the main pop chart. August's "Sunlight," released on Polydor, was more aggressive -- to a piercing extent -- and fared even better; it peaked in the Top 20 of the pop chart as the group was plotting the release of its debut full-length. After some delays, that album, Evolution Theory, arrived in February 2013. After some touring the guys recorded their newest album, London Road in a quick and productive fashion -- with appearances from the likes of the Partysquad, Big Narstie, and Flowdan -- and released it in May 2015. Straight off the back of their sell-out UK album tour, we welcome them to Switch for a night of bass driven madness!

    HATCHA
    www.facebook.com/hatchadj

No one DJ or indeed producer can claim sole credit for dubstep. But when the history of the genre gets told, no DJ has ever had, or perhaps ever will again have so much influence over the course of the genre as Hatcha. It’s no overstatement to say the entire genre bares his stamp. Named as one of Mixmag's greatest DJs of all time, Hatcha’s roots seep deep back into late ‘90s UK garage, Croydon and pirate radio. As the garage sounds from south London began to take on their own unique, dark swung direction, it became clear that the nascent scene needed a home. While other DJs came with a collection of white labels, Hatcha arrived with a box of upfront dubplates: unique one-off exclusive tracks. No DJ could test.

    SLIMZEE
    www.facebook.com/slimzeedj

DJ Slimzee, co-founder of Rinse FM, member of the legendary Pay As U Go Cartel, owner of the foundational Slimzos Recordings and commonly referred to as the Godfather of Grime. Fast forward to 2014 and DJ Slimzee is regarded as one of the UK’s true underground heroes, still calmly demolishing clubs around the world with a trademark high-energy mixing style that inspired a whole generation of young DJs. With an unrivalled library of custom grime dubplates and rare classics, combined with a perpetual hunger for fresh, forward sounds, nobody in the world can deliver a set like DJ Slimzee.

    BIG NARSTIE
    www.facebook.com/BigNarstie

Big Narstie is a grime MC from Brixton, South London, and is a founder member of the grime collective NAA. Big Narstie is easily the largest MC in the grime scene, and often makes fun of this in his work. He is also well known and liked in the scene for his character and charisma.

    FOOTSIE
    www.facebook.com/Footsie.NG

Footsie is an MC and producer from Newham, East London. Formerly a member of Nasty Crew, Footsie is now a member of the Newham Generals who are signed to Dirtee Stank, Dizzee Rascal’s label. Footsie appeared on the underground DVD Lord Of The Mics 1, clashing with rival East London MC Scratchy from Roll Deep.
