Mindfulness - Music - Mood lighting at the Chi Chill Zone
The Chi Chill Zone is the ultimate immersive relaxing experience.
The theme for this week's Zone is stillness.
The focus of this event will be stillness and you will get the opportunity to learn various seated
mindfulness exercises that you can then practice in your own time.

If you would like to achieve a zen-like feeling and to learn how to just be in the moment, then this is the event for you. It is easy for beginners to try and by simply following the guided mindfulness meditations, you will experience a deep sense of calm.
As the sun sets, specialist mood lighting takes over to create dreamy, otherworldly patterns on the surfaces and people around you whilst meditative music plays in the background to further enhance the relaxing feeling.
This is suitable for all levels of fitness. No special equipment required; just bring a bottle of water and wear loose clothing.
Venue info: we are in the main hall. There is free parking in the car park behind the venue as well as on-street parking.
Who is leading the session? Darren Yap will be leading the session. Darren has over 30 years of experience in Tai Chi, meditation, wellness and fitness.
Is it suitable for beginners?Absolutely; no experience is required.
Do I need a yoga mat? No, just bring a bottle of water and wear loose clothing and trainers or plimsolls.
Is this suitable for children?The recommended minimum age is 16 as the activities will be very slow and quiet in nature.
