Join Mindful Movement specialist (and author of Mindfulness In Motion) Dr Tamara Russell for this energizing, tai chi based, 30 minutes of gentle physical exercise to align your body, mind and soul. 

Simple movements with big impact that will leave you refreshed and rejuvenated for the rest of the day. Suitable for all ages and abilities. 

Loose clothing recommended and dress warm as we will go outside for the session weather permitting.

About Tamara

Dr.Russell works with individuals and organisations advising on how to use mindfulness techniques to optimise performance and improve mental and physical well-being. She is the Director of the (currently virtual) Mindfulness Centre of Excellence, London, which has as its aim the evaluation of creative yet authentic mindfulness applications for all spheres of life.

Combining her clinical, neuroscience and martial arts training, Dr. Russell’s approach engages both body and mind, for a total solution to manage the stressors of our modern working environment.

‘Wild Winter Wellness’ is a month-long series of events and activations hosted by Coal Drops Yard and curated by BeBox, designed to help transform our perspective on winter, embrace the benefits of its elements and explore our inner world.

Studies show that at this time of year (often considered the most mentally and emotionally challenging time of year) we need more daylight and outdoor time as well as good human connection time to keep mental and physical stressors from our system.

Wild Winter Wellness contains gatherings, talks and breakthrough physical challenges to transform our physical, mental and emotional quality of life.

Mind in Camden provides high-quality support and capacity building services to benefit people who are struggling with mental distress, including hearing voices, extremes of mood, anxiety, unusual beliefs and post-traumatic reactions.
