Mindful Eating Workshop

Mar 10 2016 18:30 - 20:30

Maple & Fitz, 36A Berners Street, W1T 3LY London

Maple & Fitz and MISSION give you tools to make healthier choices, lead a more balanced life and improve your overall health and wellbeing. The first in our regular series is a Mindful Eating Workshop.

When you're busy, tired and have limited time, it's easy to grab something from the nearest location or default to a take away meal without considering what is the healthiest and most nutritious option for you. And then when you’re eating, you guzzle it down without stopping to chew or taking the time to really taste and enjoy your meal.

In this evening session, you will learn how to choose and make meals that nourish you and support your energy levels throughout the day. You will also consider how to enjoy your meal more mindfully, which will benefit you physically, mentally and emotionally.

Food will be provided and the session will include a mini cooking lesson by Le Cordon Bleu Trained Chef and owner of Maple & Fitz using wholesome and unprocessed ingredients to ensure you come away with the skills to create healthy meals for yourself.

Come and join us!

About Maple & Fitz:

Maple & Fitz is Fitzrovia's best healthy eatery and first cold-pressed juice bar. Founded by Adria Wu, a Le Cordon Bleu trained chef and graduate of the UK College of Nutrition and Health who left the corporate world to follow her passion for cooking (and eating), Maple & Fitz creates imaginative, nutritious dishes made from fresh seasonal ingredients – wholesome but great-tasting food designed to make you feel great inside and out. For the Maple & Fitz team, it's all about balance. They don't believe in perfection but want people to feel confident about their food choices. They proudly make all their lunches, breakfasts, cold-pressed juices, smoothies and treats on-site.
