We are so excited to welcome Michaela Boehm and Steve James for an evening exploring the yoga of intimacy. This workshop is open to both men and women.

Whether you are starting an intimate relationship or want to deepen passion with your partner, the principles of Intimacy and Polarity — the spark that keeps passion alive — are always available to deepen your experience.

In this experiential class, discover the concepts and practices of creating deeper connections in your life. You will:

• Learn how to deepen passion and intimacy
• Understand the distinct gifts the feminine and masculine bring to relationship
• Discover how to bring your partner into their essence and create passion even after a day at work
• Explore new ways of bringing depth and excitement into your loving

Note: This workshop is open to singles and couples of any sexual orientation. Participants should be prepared for extensive experiential practice. Sex and nudity are not involved.

After class, a delicious feast will be served by the talented chefs at the Town Hall Hotel.

About Michaela

Michaela Boehm creates a dynamic experiential teaching style combining her 15+ years of experience as a counselor with her in-depth training in the yogic arts. She teaches artful intimacy and polarity internationally.

Born and raised in Austria, Michaela received degrees in Psychology and further extensive training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Hypnosis, and NLP.

Upon moving to the United States in 1994, Michaela established a 19-year counseling practice logging over 40,000 client hours . She quickly became counselor to the stars in Hollywood, California, and her on-going clients include Oscar-winning actors, producers, writers, and multiple Grammy-winning musicians.

Included in her clinical experience she co-founded a Malibu celebrity drug rehabilitation center, serving for 4 years as both a counselor and a treatment plan manager, subsequently consulting other facilities on treatment plans.

Michaela also consults extensively with international business founders and family offices specializing in succession and second generation wealth strategies.

Yogic Background

From the age of 16, Michaela received a formal, classical Tantric education from a female teacher in a Kashmiri Shaivism tradition. Shortly before her death in 2015, she officially instated Michaela as her sole heir and lineage holder.

Michaela traveled and co-taught with David Deida for 13 years, and has also trained extensively in multiple forms of yoga and bodywork.

Michaela is now making available her unique services to those outside the Hollywood elite, offering women’s workshops, couples intensives, relationship and intimacy counseling, and co-ed trainings.

She teaches internationally including workshops at Esalen Institute, Omega, Kripalu, Hollyhock Learning Center, Shambala Mountain Center, and is a regular speaker at the Summit and Summit at Sea gatherings.

About Steve

For over ten years Steve has predominantly worked with private clients by referral only, both in 1-1 contexts and in closed-door intensives for small groups. He now also co-teaches publicly with Michaela in select workshops and private sessions.

Steve has an extensive background of deep explorations in various embodiment practices (including martial arts, yoga, and qigong), meditation, contemplative and mystic traditions, music, survival, interpersonal and business strategy, and a comprehensive sexual yoga expertise.

Steve’s clients range from pioneering entrepreneur CEO’s and multi-billion dollar fund managers to Grammy-winning rockstars and Oscar-nominated actors. He teaches internationally and has recently led workshops with Michaela at the Esalen Institute and the Summit at Sea gathering.
