Description

We are delighted to announce the return of the MG Northumbria Classic Car Show.

This year we are holding as a smaller show at our club HQ Backworth Hall (NE27 0AH) on Sunday 5th June 2022.

Exhibitor numbers are limited to 300 so book now to avoid disappointment!

The show will be open to the public from 11am to 4pm. We politely request that exhibitors arrive by 10:45 and remain in place with your engine switched off until the show closes. We also ask that you drive carefully whilst on site, and when leaving the venue at the end of the show.

There are no club stands this year to simplify organisation for the volunteers we have. However, if club members wish to attend together, there is an industrial estate opposite the Hall entrance where you can meet up then enter the show and be parked up together.  Each car will need its own ticket.

Exhibitor tickets are £5, which covers the car, driver and passengers. As always, all profits will be donated to local charities. MG Northumbria members can exhibit free of charge. If you would like to join our club please contact the club secretary via the “contact us” link on our website www.MGNorthumbria.weebly.com and we would be delighted to welcome you as a member. You don’t need to own an MG to join, just have an enthusiasm for the brand. Our growing programme of events is also available on the website.

There is a charge of £5 for visitors to the show collected on admission. Accompanied under 16s enter free.

Well behaved dogs (supervised and leashed) are welcome. Please bring water and poo bags for your furry friend. Bins will be provided.

There are toilet facilities in the Hall. Please note that the Hall is Grade II listed, and is only accessible via the front stone staircase. We are providing portaloos, including an accessible toilet on the day also. The show site is a level grassed area. There will be limited disabled parking close to the site entrance - please bring your disabled parking permit to display whilst you are parked.

There will be food available to purchase on site, and Minchellas are vending quality ice creams on the day.  However, please feel free to bring a picnic along, but please dispose of all waste carefully in the bins provided.

We look forward to welcoming friends old and new to the MG Northumbria Classic Car Show at Backworth Hall.

FAQ

  • I have not received my ticket via email. What should I do?

The first thing to do is check your spam/junk filters and inboxes. Your tickets were sent as an attachment and can be thought of as spam by some email services. Alternatively, you can always find your tickets in your Billetto account that you can access in the browsers or the dedicated Billetto app. For more help with this, read here.

  • I wish to cancel my ticket and receive a refund. What should I do?

The approval of refunds is entirely at the event organiser’s discretion, and you should get in contact with the event organiser to discuss what options are available to you. To get in touch with the event organiser, simply reply to your order confirmation email or use the "Contact organiser" form on the organiser's profile. For more help with this, read here.

  • I have registered on the waiting list, what happens now?

If more tickets become available you will be notified (by email) amongst others who have joined the list. Purchasing is on a first-come first-serve basis. For more information, read here.

  • Where do I find a link to an online event?

Check your order confirmation page or order confirmation email. Usually, the organiser of the event provides the details in the order confirmation email or they might send you a follow-up email with a link to their online event. You might also want to read the event description on Billetto where an event organiser should describe how to join the event online. For more information on this, read here.

  • What is refund protection and why would I need it?

Refund Protection provides you with the assurance that if unforeseen and unavoidable circumstances interfere with your ability to attend an event you can claim a refund. For more information on this, read here.
