Described as a passionate and deeply sensitive musician, London-based Bolivian pianist Daniel Porcel Chalup is currently a 3rd year student at the Royal Academy of Music. He is studying towards his Bachelor degree under the tutelage of professor and concert pianist Mei-TIng Sun. He has been part of different projects at the Royal Academy of Music, with the most recent being the Autumn Piano Festival 2022, playing some Schumann's late piano repertoire and the "Seen and Heard" Festival in which he performed a new contemporary piece from composer Jake Heggi for flute, cello and piano. During his first year at the Royal Academy of Music, he was awarded the J E Reckitt Award, highlighting his studentship and contribution to the Academy. Daniel has also performed in various cities of his home country, including La Paz, Santa Cruz de la Sierra and of course his hometown Sucre; as well as other places in the UK. In 2019 he was awarded 2nd Prize at the "Il Young Soloist Competition" in Santa Cruz de la Sierra - Bolivia and most recently, he has been awarded as a finalist in the WPTA Spain International Piano Competition 2021.As part of his development as a musician, Daniel has also been involved in various courses that go beyond his main study; some of those include performance on early keyboards, under the guidance of renowned harpsichordist Steven Devine and Jane Chapman; conducting at an intermediate level and choir music, as a singer, accompanist and conductor. He has also taken place in a series of masterclasses, covering solo and chamber music, having the chance to receive coaching from renowned musicians like Adrian Brendel, Evgeny Sudbin, Amandine Savary and Ian Fountain, among others.

Binyan Xu is a Chinese pianist who has achieved significant success in her career as a solo and collaborative musician. After winning major competitions in her home country, Binyan went on to pursue her studies in the United States, where she studied with Dr. Yin Zheng at Virginia commonwealth University. Under Dr. Zheng's guidance, Binyan developed a deep passion for music performance and received a senior award for Outstanding Achievement of Performance upon completing her undergraduate studies. Binyan's talent and dedication to music have taken her around the world, performing in prestigious venues such as the Kennedy Center in Washington D.C, The Duke’s Hall, The David Josefowitz Recital Hall in London, and various renowned music festivals in Italy, Germany, and the United States. Her performances have been highly praised by acclaimed pianists such as Leon Fleisher, Sonia Rubinsky, and Alexander Paley. Binyan is also an enthusiastic collaborative musician who constantly explores innovative art forms and creative collaborations. In 2018, she and her trio were invited to The Governor's School For The Arts to hold a lecture-recital, presenting their experiences as collaborative musicians. Throughout her studies in the United States, Binyan was an active member of the Music Teacher National Association and the Virginia Music Teacher Association. She later obtained the LRAM teaching license in London, which stands for Licentiate of the Royal Academy of Music. Binyan's experience working in ballet schools and churches during her studies in the United States has inspired her to reflect on how she can reduce the distance between listeners across cultural boundaries through her music. She is dedicated to breaking down barriers and reaching audiences from all walks of life, sharing her love of music with as many people as possible.
