Hyde Panaser
Hailing from West London, Hyde Panaser has produced, written and presented a number of hi-octane radio shows, including breakfast shows and specialist music shows. He has appeared on TV and film, speed dating in Gurinder Chadha’s movie “It’s A Wonderful Afterlife” and featured on the BBC Asian Network as part of Meera Syal’s Comedy Night, celebrating the next generation of Asian stand-up comics.
Hyde considers everyone a target. His observational storytelling style takes you on a journey of numerous subjects to dealing with the different cultures he comes across living a multicultural lifestyle – at home with his parents! He has attracted interest from various media including Timeout, Asiana Magazine, Eastern Eye, BBC Asian Network and InsideDesi.com.
Hyde’s debut show “99 Problems But My Beard Ain’t One” in which he looks at the social perceptions towards someone who looks like him. Living in a multicultural society with a beard!

Maria Shehata is an award-winning comedian known for her conversational delivery and her sardonic yet playful candour. Maria has been featured on BBC, Channel 5, Comedy Central, Showtime, and Comic Relief. She is winner of Best Comedian at the Hollywood Festival of New Cinema, and Best Comedy at the Miami Web Fest where she was nominated for Best Actress. Maria was also shortlisted as one of the Five Best New Performers at the 2017 Edinburgh Fringe by The 99 Club. Her writing has been published in British Comedy Guide, The Reading Lists, The F Word, and the New York Times.
