On October 20th, Margate's Social Singing Choir are putting on a benefit concert to raise funds for ARK and to celebrate the 6th anniversary of the choir's formation.
With special guests, lots of local talent, new arrangements and some old favourites, this is set to be a night crammed full of joy.
Margate's Social Singing Choir was formed in 2017 with a simple idea, no auditions, no need of previous experience, just a place in the community to sing some awesome songs together and have a good time. They have played shows across the south east, supporting SELF ESTEEM as well as performing at the opening of the Turner Prize. The Social Singing Choir have also featured on several recordings including Swim Deep's album Emerald Classics, very.com Christmas advert and The Welcome Chorus album.
