Description

The Lucky Things Meet Ups are about getting us all together and enjoying some time out with a friendly crowd. The first #LuckyThingsMeetUp of 2017 was a sell-out.

The April Lucky Things Meet Up is all about Feeling Confident in Your Own Style (It’s not about being fashionable). Come and hear great everyday style tips from the panel featuring Alison Perry from Not Another Mummy Blog and Fashion Stylist Susan Alcindor. The panel will be chaired by Sunita from Lucky Things blog who will be sharing her own style tricks.

Ticket price includes a goody bag. Due to private venue hire, only 50 tickets are currently available so it's going to be another sell-out event. Please note that tickets are non-refundable but they are transferable should someone else like to come along. Unused tickets cannot be transferred between events. Please send me an email should you wish to go on the wait list for any cancellations.

Lucky Things Meet Ups are just for the ladies (sorry no babies or children so appreciate some may need to look into childcare).

Central London venue TBC

More about the panel...

Alison Perry is well-known family lifestyle blogger. After working for magazines like Bliss, More and Look for 10 years, Alison became a mum and started a blog. Despite working with fashionable people and overseeing fashion pages in magazines, Alison maintains she isn't a style expert and just likes to wear normal clothes. "I'm a size 16 with a tummy and hips and a bum, so loads of clothes that other bloggers wear just look terrible on me," says Alison. "My whole thing is that I'm just a normal 30-something who likes nice normal clothes! Nothing crazy or mega 'on-trend', just nice stuff! And people seem to like it. It's important to feel confident in what you wear and not feel like you have to wear something because it's in all the shops."

Susan Alcindor has been a fashion stylist for over 15 years working for magazines like Cosmopolitan, Look and Stylist. As a trusted expert, she also works closely major brands, advertising campaigns and high-profile red carpet events. She is well-known by many designer and high-street brands for giving them great images and coverage. Susan knows that feeling good about your own style is important because it reflects your uniqueness and individuality. “It doesn't have to be about keeping up with the latest trends but adapting what you have already. It's also about being comfortable in your outfit choices"

The Lucky Things Meet Ups are organised by Sunita from Lucky Things blog. She is also a people development and HR expert who loves organising networking events for women on topics ranging from wellbeing, confidence, career, parenting and style.

FAQ

  • I have not received my ticket via email. What should I do?

The first thing to do is check your spam/junk filters and inboxes. Your tickets were sent as an attachment and can be thought of as spam by some email services. Alternatively, you can always find your tickets in your Billetto account that you can access in the browsers or the dedicated Billetto app. For more help with this, read here.

  • I wish to cancel my ticket and receive a refund. What should I do?

The approval of refunds is entirely at the event organiser’s discretion, and you should get in contact with the event organiser to discuss what options are available to you. To get in touch with the event organiser, simply reply to your order confirmation email or use the "Contact organiser" form on the organiser's profile. For more help with this, read here.

  • I have registered on the waiting list, what happens now?

If more tickets become available you will be notified (by email) amongst others who have joined the list. Purchasing is on a first-come first-serve basis. For more information, read here.

  • Where do I find a link to an online event?

Check your order confirmation page or order confirmation email. Usually, the organiser of the event provides the details in the order confirmation email or they might send you a follow-up email with a link to their online event. You might also want to read the event description on Billetto where an event organiser should describe how to join the event online. For more information on this, read here.

  • What is refund protection and why would I need it?

Refund Protection provides you with the assurance that if unforeseen and unavoidable circumstances interfere with your ability to attend an event you can claim a refund. For more information on this, read here.
