Description

The Lucky Things Meet Ups are about getting us all together, picking up top tips and hanging out with a friendly and inclusive crowd. The first two Lucky Things Meet Ups of 2017 have been sell-out events. Lucky Things Meet Ups are networking events for women - they're all about you and your time.

The July Lucky Things Meet Up is all about Feeling Confident in Your Career. Come and hear top tips on managing your career whether you're working for a company, running your own business, running your home, driving creative projects or leading a combination of these careers. The panel features Antonia from TinkerTailor.Online and Lisa from The Wentworth Collective. The panel will be chaired by Sunita from Lucky Things blog. With over 15 years corporate HR experience helping others to grow their careers and skills, Sunita will also be sharing her career confidence know-how.

Due to private venue hire, only 50 tickets are available so it's likely to be another sell-out event. The ticket price includes a goody bag. Please note that tickets are non-refundable but they are transferable should someone else like to come along. Unused tickets cannot be transferred between events. These events are for women only (sorry, no babies or children).

More about the panel...

Antonia began her career at age 19 working for a major travel operator. She took a long term career break after the birth of her second daughter and during that time Antonia retrained as a teacher. In her last role before becoming a full time lifestyle blogger, Antonia was the manager of a pre-school for almost two years. She set up Tinker Tailor Online to pursue her dream of becoming a business owner and to create a lifestyle more in tune with the needs of her family. Tinker Tailor Online has become a place to showcase her passion for real-life style. Antonia has grown her personal blog into a dynamic and increasingly recognisable brand that speaks to real women.

Lisa James kicked off her career as an events manager. She blames her passion for events on her childhood flying around the world as her father worked for Pan Am. She is a true organiser. Lisa worked and led teams at a major global events company for 13 years supporting big corporate clients. She now runs her own events consultancy The Wentworth Collective, to "bring people together in the name of business". Lisa is successful at organising events for organisations so people leave inspired and feel they can make a difference. She truly believes it's experience that builds your confidence.

The Lucky Things Meet Ups are organised by Sunita from Lucky Things blog. She is also a people development and HR expert who loves organising networking events for women on topics ranging from wellbeing, confidence, career, parenting and style.

FAQ

  • I have not received my ticket via email. What should I do?

The first thing to do is check your spam/junk filters and inboxes. Your tickets were sent as an attachment and can be thought of as spam by some email services. Alternatively, you can always find your tickets in your Billetto account that you can access in the browsers or the dedicated Billetto app. For more help with this, read here.

  • I wish to cancel my ticket and receive a refund. What should I do?

The approval of refunds is entirely at the event organiser’s discretion, and you should get in contact with the event organiser to discuss what options are available to you. To get in touch with the event organiser, simply reply to your order confirmation email or use the "Contact organiser" form on the organiser's profile. For more help with this, read here.

  • I have registered on the waiting list, what happens now?

If more tickets become available you will be notified (by email) amongst others who have joined the list. Purchasing is on a first-come first-serve basis. For more information, read here.

  • Where do I find a link to an online event?

Check your order confirmation page or order confirmation email. Usually, the organiser of the event provides the details in the order confirmation email or they might send you a follow-up email with a link to their online event. You might also want to read the event description on Billetto where an event organiser should describe how to join the event online. For more information on this, read here.

  • What is refund protection and why would I need it?

Refund Protection provides you with the assurance that if unforeseen and unavoidable circumstances interfere with your ability to attend an event you can claim a refund. For more information on this, read here.
