    Description

    Celebrate Swedish Lucia at Fika!

On Saturday December 13th it’s time for the annual Lucia procession at Fika!

Lucia is an immensely important date in the Scandinavian Calendar. Every year, kids and adults join in what is also known as the festival of light.

The tradition of Lucia can be traced back both to St Lucia of Syracuse, a martyr who died in 304, and to the Swedish legend of Lucia as Adam’s first wife. In the old calendar, 13th December was the darkest night - and Lucia is the festival of light. In Scandinavia, long processions of Lucia go through the streets with candles in their hands, singing in the lighter days. It is amazing.

Book your ticket to hear Fika's own choir perform a number of traditional (as well as contemporary) songs, while treating yourself to a filling three course Christmas meal including two drinks - all this for £35 per person! Please see menu below.

    * Please note that the ticket is non-refundable and non-transferable to another time-slot. Any dietary requests must be agreed in advance of the purchase.
    * Each sitting last for 2 hours
    * Any group booking larger than 15 people may have to be seated on separate tables
    * Some groups may be seated by the same table as other ticket holders
    * Please email popup@fikalondon.com for any enquires you might have regarding this event
