Looe Rowing Club are very pleased to welcome Johnny Cowling back to Looe after his very popular appearance at this years Looe Music Festival!
There will also be a disco after Johnny Cowling. The party will therefore go on until 1am
We're raising funds for a new gig and this is our first event of 2018. We look forward to welcoming you on Saturday 20th January. Your ticket price includes a steak pasty ... please email us at Looerowingclub2017@gmail.com when booking if you would like cheese and onion instead. Tickets will be available to collect on the door - please bring bank card/ID in name of booking. Funny man Johnny Cowling has been delighting audiences for over 10 years. His Cornish charm and quick wit make him an Obvious choice of entertainment for his vocal Talent and Humour .
Hugely popular over the South West , His engaging Wit and Charisma - Have anyone, lucky enough to have caught a live show , booking him for further a field taking him all over the country and beyond . Yes the Road from Cornwall leads THAT far! And so Does Johnny’s Popularity.
Johnny is an entertainer who likes to get among the people during performance -with a wealth of tales and yarns to spin. Johnny has a natural warmth that makes him popular, to family audiences and adult audiences alike. His clear Cornish voice make every word (and song when singing) easy on the ear, yet still invigorating.
His topics including - The ever changing face of Cornwall, Ladies appliances, Cornish Family life, holiday makers and much much more….have his audiences laughing with tears running down their faces or running for the loo!
As well as providing his entertainment for all manner of Charity’s - Including the Children’s Hospice South West - Heartswell and Various Churches all over the Country. Johnny has more recently Cycled London to Paris for the Meningitis trust and Run The London Marathon twice for Cornwall’s Ambulances (F.L.E.E.T), raising over £10,000.
Who has Johnny Cowling been compared to….? Well, mix a pinch of Jethro ,a dab of Michael Barrymore, a spoonful of Tommy Cooper and a hunk of Elvis and standing before you would be 6ft 1 Cornishman Johnny Cowling.
