Special presentation with live performance by sci-psyche synth specialists Raagnagrok live in concert accompanied with a visual hot bed of ’70s sci-fi imagery!

With its bludgeoning social critic, apocalyptic leanings and futurist synth-led score, Logan’s Run teeters on the cusp when hard sci-fi transformed into the fantasy flavoured jaunts of Star Wars and its spawn. Starring Filmbar faves and National treasures Michael York, Peter Ustinov and the unforgettable Jenny Agutter, Logan’s Run is a blast of Brit thespian action and 22nd century stylings. We’ll also be sharing a celebration of ‘70s sci-fi pre-Star Wars, and host of retro-futuristic fun. So, let us return to the future when being 30 was considered young, and where we have only one option: ‘Run runner!’

The Year is 2274. Humanity is hermetically sealed within the vast confines of the Dome, indulging in hedonistic pursuits until their ‘renewal’ at the age of 30. Logan 5 is a Sandman, a hunter tracking those who resist renewal, content with his carefree existence. But when his time approaches, he fears that this utopian paradise shelters a dystopian heart.

Come and rip it up with Raagnagrok!

There are more great screenings throughout September as part of Scalarama at the Hollywood Spring including; Gun Crazy, Sidewalk Stories, Highlander, Hackers, The King of Kong and The Last Starfighter
