Entropy is a alternative indie/soul/jazz band formed by vocals, keys, violin and cello. They take inspiration from film scores and strip it down to produce songs with exciting atmospheric and soulful string arrangements.

The Brighton based duo have been playing music together since around 2012. Their 2017 debut album ‘Bright Star’ was greeted with plaudits from fans and media. The album inspiration came from Scott & Maria's move from London to Brighton in late 2015. A smorgasbord of music influences from David Bowie to The Beatles, from Nina Simone to Newton Faulkner and Nahko Bear & The Medicine People. It is an eclectic, fun mix of acoustic songs leaning towards alternative folk. Love, and the depth of feeling, is a recurring theme throughout the album.
