    Description

    Live at the Brunswick

A night of Looping, Experimental Indie/Folk & Haunting, Evocative Songwriting

    Ragged Rebel City

Painting a picture of urban decay, of nature taking back the city; harvesters of the fertile ground between acoustic songs and ragged, unpolished, experimental, yet truthful sonic treatment.

Think Bon Iver, Bonnie Prince Billy, John Martyn ensconced in mellifluous free-fall with the abandon of Godspeedyou and Dirty Three.

    Seadog

Seadog is the project of Brighton-based musician and songwriter Mark Benton.

The project began with Benton at the nucleus of an ever-changing cast of musical friends where each performer would bring their own piece of imagination to the music.

Seadog are currently a five-piece that combine a variety of influences into a myriad sound of lullabies with anthemic electric and acoustic textures.

The band have made a strong presence within the Brighton music scene and have performed live sessions for local stations Radio Reverb and Juice FM as well as airplay on BBC Introducing, Tom Robinson’s BBC 6 Mixtape and Amazing Radio.

They have supported a number of artists over the years including Hayley Bonar, Blue Roses, Erland and The Carnival, Pedro The Lion, and have been asked by Grandaddy frontman, Jason Lytle, to open for them at their recent sold out Brighton.

    Sharon Lewis

Much revered for her haunting vocals and poignant lyrics, Sharon Lewis (formerly of the female duo Pooka) performs songs from her recent album Roses At The Top.

Accompanying herself on piano, guitar and ukulele, Sharon’s spellbinding music has been described as strong medicine for the soul with songs that resonate as deeply as ancient hymns.

“What I love about Sharon’s songs is that they are such a unique expression of her’s, but
they are really every person’s songs, what I mean is that anyone can place themselves
inside them. I am a big fan!” Anais Mitchell
