Description

Little Victories is a boutique record label and promoter based in Edinburgh, Scotland.

Since it all started in 2014 we’ve put on shows across the UK, from tiny cafes, to candlelit churches and cavernous theatres.

After four fantastic shows in Leith Depot, Little Victories is back for its fifth monthly music night, featuring another roster of incredible artists.

Before we tell you about the truly star studded lineup for our fifth show, let us tell you about what we like, and what you’ll get from these shows. Tunes. That’s basically it. We like folk, we like pop, we like indie, we like rock. We like people who write songs, we like people who interpret songs. We like what we like, and we think you’ll like it too.

Joe Innes & The Cavalcade – Joe Innes & The Cavalcade are one of our favourite up and coming bands. Their fun, infectious, wry folk-pop is full of great hooks, smart lyrics, and amazing energy. They've played End of the Road, Cambridge Folk Festival, been championed by Lauren Laverne and BBC Radio 6, and generally loads of people agree with us that they're Great. Their new album is called Foreign Domestic Policy and we think you'll love it.

Andrew Valentine – Andrew Valentine is a folk rocker from the Scottish Borders and he's been on our radar for a year or two now. Think Biffy Clyro meets Ryan Adams and you'll get a pretty good idea of Andrew's sound. His latest offering, 'Somewhere on The Moon' is a collection of heartfelt, americana ballads that you're definitely going to love. Now signed to Indie label, Independent Ear, the future's looking bright for this Scottish native.

Dog On A Swing – Ed Ritchie, aka Dog on a Swing, is a regular on Edinburgh's acoustic and open mic circuit, and we're really happy to have him here at Little Victories. Ed's music feels very nostalgic, in the way great emo or great pop does - songs that wear their heart on their sleeve, made all the more emotive by Ed's crackling voice.
