Roll up, roll up… it’s been a while but it’s time for another ‘Little Cooking Pot’ Supperclub and this time we’re off to Georgia. After our adventure there this October, we’re very excited to invite you to our very own Supra, bringing together the favourite recipes from all the wonderful people we met and stayed with along the way.
‘Supra’ is the name given to the traditional feasts, held throughout Georgia on special occasions. Expect huge sharing platters of Georgian delights along one long table, spontaneous toasting from our ‘tamada’ (more on this later) and we are extremely happy to announce that we’re going to have a choir singing traditional Georgian folk songs throughout the evening. The folk music we heard during our time there, went straight into our hearts and across the mountains and we can’t wait for them to take you there too.
This time we’re going to be upstairs in the hall at Core Clapton (161 northwold road, E5 8RL). It’s a short walk from Clapton overground, with lots of buses running from close by, so nice and easy to get to. It's BYOB, wine is traditional, unless you have some homemade chacha knocking around ;)
Here’s how the menus looking. This one is vegetarian but if you are vegan or gluten free, just let us know on booking.
Georgian hospitality is rivalled by no other country we’ve visited. We felt at home around so many different tables and we’re very excited to share the experience with you. So we hope to see you there.
