Don’t miss exciting activities popping up around King’s Cross with a special Flower Power theme for the Let’s Play: Easter Festival. Take a ride on the land train and discover something wonderful at every stop.
Spring is finally here and for the Easter season, King’s Cross will be getting a Flower Power makeover. Get set for two whole weeks of fun activities for all the family including an array of Flower Power themed arts and crafts from our Lower Stable Street geniuses – STORE Store. And don’t miss the grand finale in the form of our Easter Canopy Market which will transform West Handyside Canopy into an urban farm, complete with a petting zoo.
Jump aboard the ‘Easter Express’ land train in Granary Square and it’s full steam ahead to Coal Drops Yard where excitement awaits. In the day, take the train to a series of workshops, in the evening adults can take a ride to the bars for some glorious Easter cocktails.
Over Easter weekend, renowned landscape architect Dan Pearson will be transforming the Yard into a sea of beautiful flowers. Meanwhile, Moon Lane Ink books will be visiting, and bringing their own festival with them – look out for great storytelling and book-themed activities from the amazing bookshop.
The Let’s Play: Easter Festival will stretch across the entire estate, with activities including planting workshops at the Skip Garden, a Big Easter Egg Hunt starting under West Handyside Canopy and free face painting across the site.
If you want to relax between activities, the grass steps are returning to the canalside where you can enjoy a picnic and views over the canal.
