Leicester Comedy Festival Preview Show - 29th Jan

From Free

Description

Every Wednesday at The FinsburyBear Funny Comedy bring you some of UK's best comedians trying out brand new material.

In Jan 2020 we are partnering with Leicester Comedy Festival to showcase professional comedians heading to the festival to share some of their latest jokes. England's biggest comedy festival runs from 5-23 February this year and we totally recommend a trip to the Midlands!

At this show you will see three acts performing for thirty minutes each separated by a break to explore our excellent bar, food and facilities at the Finsbury.

On Wednesday 29th Jan we feature:

SARAH CALLAGHAN: Award-winning comedian Sarah Callaghan, fresh from hugely successful tours of Australia and New Zealand, returns to Leicester Comedy Festival with a brand new hour of stand up and powerful poetry about the absurdity, the ridiculousness and beauty of love. What is love, why do octopuses commit suicide, and why the fuck are any of us here? "The instant she steps on stage you know you're in the presence of someone new and special ***** Daily Mirror. At Leicester Comedy Festival on Friday 14th Feb. See a snippet of her live set from the excellent Newcastle comedy club, The Stand.

SCOTT CAPURRO: In this show the comedian wrangles with skin rashes, tantric dating, spousal silence and the miseries of home ownership. Certain that every silver lining is attached to a rather imposing cloud, he spins yarns that are meant to resolve issues but oddly seem to have the opposite effect. "Comic equation: Larry Grayson x (Lenny Bruce + Chris Rock) = Scott Capurro" The Guardian *****. At Leicester Comedy Festival on Saturday 8th Feb. Do you want to hear what he has to say about gays in the miliatary? Not for the easily offended!

JACK GLEADOW: The Leicester Mercury Comedian of The Year 2018 returns with a brand new work in progress show. Join Jack for an evening of fun all round entertainment. Expect fun, games and find out how on earth he became the 15th coolest person in Hull. "A natural born performer with great stage presence who knows how to entertain" ITALKTELLY. ''An absolute natural'' CHORTLE. Nominated Chortle Best Newcomer and Best New Show Leicester Comedy Festival. At Leicester Comedy Festival on Sunday 9th Feb. See a snippet of his performance from the 2019 LCF gala show now!

The first thing to do is check your spam/junk filters and inboxes. Your tickets were sent as an attachment and can be thought of as spam by some email services. Alternatively, you can always find your tickets in your Billetto account that you can access in the browsers or the dedicated Billetto app. For more help with this, read here.

The approval of refunds is entirely at the event organiser’s discretion, and you should get in contact with the event organiser to discuss what options are available to you. To get in touch with the event organiser, simply reply to your order confirmation email or use the "Contact organiser" form on the organiser's profile. For more help with this, read here.

  • I have registered on the waiting list, what happens now?

If more tickets become available you will be notified (by email) amongst others who have joined the list. Purchasing is on a first-come first-serve basis. For more information, read here.

  • Where do I find a link to an online event?

Check your order confirmation page or order confirmation email. Usually, the organiser of the event provides the details in the order confirmation email or they might send you a follow-up email with a link to their online event. You might also want to read the event description on Billetto where an event organiser should describe how to join the event online. For more information on this, read here.
