After a hit run at Soho House, Learn Photography Now hits The Proud Archivist just in time for the summer holidays! This one day workshop, led by Adobe Certified Associate and Sunday Times and Observer photographer Xavier Fiddes will take everyone back to the basics and cover all the skills that you need to really make the most out of your SLR camera. The day will be split up with hands on theory and fun practical sessions with lots of tips and bespoke feedback on how you can improve. By the end of the workshop everyone will understand how they can release the potential of any camera in manual mode and will cover topics such as exposure, shutter speeds, ISO, aperture, resolution, image format, composition, semiotics, focus, rule of thirds and much more.
Not to mention you'll be sent off in pairs to put into practice what you've learnt with group critique and feedback at the end.
