INTRODUCTION
Fourth industrial revolution fundamentally changing the world's economy and society and is transforming our way of life, work and play. How can we adapt to these shifts, and how can we make use of the technology advancements that we have today to build an entirely new political system?
Based on the momentum generated by the discussions in the facebook group and our first meeting which we hosted, we're organizing our very first Politech Hackathon to bring some of the hot ideas that are being debated to reality. We are looking to bring together individuals who are from the tech and political sectors to build an innovative political culture within an environment of the 4th industrial revolution. Both communities are going to be at the way of shaping our future. Therefore, it makes sense to join forces today.
In the course of a weekend, participants brainstorm and develop products services, platforms, or products to enhance politics by using technology, information, and political theories. Are you interested in helping to shape the course of politics in order to improve the quality of life in the world? Join us.
Our aim is to make the political system more inclusive and transparent, as well as open and diverse, so that it is able to fulfill its primary goal of bringing people closer to tackle societal problems.
MEANS THEMES
1. Automating the political process
What job tasks for politicians could be automated? For instance, can we develop technology that can create speeches or understand what the public's opinion is on specific issues, to assist in the creation of laws? Are ethical decisions influenced by machine learning?
2. Establishing a new institution of political power
What can we do to create an entirely new political institution with the tools we have at our disposal? The aim of this institution is to create an international group of people who collaborate to address global issues that the national government can't. In various times throughout history, the concept of a 'political party' was created, and later the notions for the European Union and United Nations were also created. What will be the next phase of these institutions?
3. A better transparent, accountable system of government
How can politicians get held to account for their statements? How can the process of the policymaking, voting, as well as campaigning be held more accountable? We could develop Augmented Reality technology which informs users whether politicians are speaking the truth or not?

4. Understanding the public's political beliefs
What kind of legislation do the people in the political system want to bring in or amend? What can we do to ensure that the political system is open to a wide and diverse range of people instead of only those who are able to are able to vote? These insights can be utilized to improve governance in the world.
