The time has finally come!
It's been a long time coming, but we're going to be holding the Launch Event for The Psychedelic Society of Glasgow! Joining us for the lovely night will be Dr. Robin Carhart-Harris!
The Head of Psychedelic Research at Imperial College London, Robin has designed a number of functional brain imaging studies with psilocybin (the active chemical in magic mushrooms), LSD (acid), MDMA (ecstasy) and DMT (ayahuasca), as well as putting on a clinical trial of psilocybin for treatment-resistant depression.
Dr. Carhart-Harris has over 50 papers published in peer-reviewed journals, and over the past two years, three of his papers have been scored within the top 100 most impactful scientific papers of the year. His research has featured in major national and international media and he has been profiled by the Independent, New Scientist, and Wired magazine. Robin has also given a popular TedX speech about lifting the veil on Psychedelic Science.
We are very happy to welcome him and are looking forward to learning more about his latest findings in the field of psychedelic neuroscience!
