Craig Murray

Hailing from Dewsbury, West Yorkshire charming Northerner Craig Murray cut his comedy teeth as resident compere at award winning London club The Funny Side, Covent Garden. Craig is a master of the compere’s art; able to turn any crowd from a lacklustre mob into a clapping, cheering, delirious audience ready to laugh all night.

An instant crowd pleaser with a charismatic, mock-confrontational style, Craig is now a highly sought-after act and compere, performing all over the UK.

And yes, he is that bloke in those adverts.

James Cook

Not to be confused with the explorer, the bass player in the Arctic Monkeys, a character off of Skins, the BBC’s Scotland correspondent, the Australian Rules footballer, the boxer, the square in Middlesbrough, the University in Queensland or the type of Mercedes Mini-van.

Ben Briggs

Ben started stand up comedy in 2008 and quickly established himself as one of the hardest working comedians in the country. In his first year he clocked up over 120 gigs and made it to the final of The Hilarity Bites new act competition and won 2 Funhouse Comedy Gong Shows. His likeable stage presence and sharp material has made him in demand as an act and compere up and down the country and saw him reach the Final of the Midlands Comedian of the Year Award in 2011. Open and honest in his material he has progressed onto paid 15’s and 20’s and is a solid compere for any club.

MC Mike Wilkinson

“Northern everyday life made silly,”

Full to the brim with down to earth Northern charm, Mike takes a bemused glance at the world and then throws it a smile. The laughs come thick and fast with Wilkinson’s dry humour and razor sharp wit.

A professional comic for over 10 years, Micheal has supported Peter Kay, Johnny Vegas, Ross Noble and others, and headlines comedy clubs across the country.
Mike is also an accomplished pianist and guitarist.

Why not either booking online or pop into the Borough and ask a member of staff. You can book up until 4pm on the day of the show assuming we haven't already sold out.

We also have the Wine and Dine offer on so book a table in the restaurant before the show and with two main courses have yourself a free bottle of wine! (thats not to be laughed at!)
