Kokedama is the Japanese craft of transplanting potted plants into beautiful moss spheres. A great alternative to their more complex relative the bonsai, they are booming in popularity because not only are they easy to care for but they can be displayed in so many unique ways around the home.
Whether you choose to hang them from a string or like their more traditional origins display on a plate or shelf, they are easy to create and make fantastic gifts.
There are many variations on how best to create a kokedama. Join us at the awesome Bodega 50 in Stoke Newington for this hands-on class. We will teach you the beginner's technique so it's suitable for absolutely everyone - not only those with green fingers. We provide all the materials you need to create your very own kokedama including a safe package to transport it home.
What you need to bring:
Absolutely nothing! But it is better not to wear your best clothes as you will be handling soil.
What you will get:
Your very own kokedama, care instructions, supplier information and step by step instructions so you can go on to make many more kokedama. Finally we will provide you with packaging to safely transport your creation home.

I have not received my Kokedama Workshop ticket via email. What should I do?
The first thing to do is check your spam/junk filters and inboxes. Your Kokedama Workshop tickets were sent as an attachment and can be thought of as spam by some email services. The approval of refunds is entirely at the event organiser’s discretion, and you should get in contact with the event organiser to discuss what options are available to you. Where do I find a link to an online event?
