Support comes from kora player & multi-instrumentalist Moussa Dembele & his epic band, plus on the decks it's DJ HoneyCuts, keeping you on the dancefloor till 2am!

Under the benign and inspiring leadership of KOG the Ghanaian force of nature on vocals and steel pan, KOG and the Zongo Brigade present an all new, stripped-back steel pan set, showcasing more vividly the traditional Ghanaian elements of their sound while leaving plenty of room for powerful doses of highlife, hiphop, afrobeat and funk. You will want to dance a lot, and you will be right!

♫♫ Moussa Dembele Band ♫♫
Moussa Dembele is a multi-instrumentalist of African instruments, music teacher and highly skilled master craftsman of African instruments. Born and raised in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso, Dembele has toured extensively throughout Africa, Europe and Israel, in particular with his previous band – ‘Koroleko’. He also spent many years based in Ghana where he played balafon for the renowned Pan-African Orchestra. In addition to the Balafon, he also plays the Kora and Ngoni to high level as well as Djembe and Doum Doum.
Now based in London, Dembele is passionate about sharing his knowledge and skills with fellow musicians and lovers of traditional African instruments and in doing so he is keen to further promote his rich culture and musical traditions. Check him out in action with Koroleko:

Chay “HoneyCuts” is the co-founder of Culture Cuts, a DJ collective who run events in London. This has lead to DJ sets at Boomtown, Greenman, Fusion (Germany), Somersault etc and various venues around the UK!
