Apr 24 2019 19:00 - Apr 25 2019 23:00

Description

You are invited to Kiwi & Roo’s latest Spring supperclub on Wednesday 24th and Thursday 25th April.

Join chefs and co-founders of Kiwi & Roo, Fi Hannah (Kiwi) and Lara Lee Wood (Roo) at the beautiful Hackney Coffee Company for a culinary exploration of their Antipodean roots; with all profits donated to a very good cause.

Expect a playful menu inspired by the vivid flavours of Asia, the Pacific coast and all the bountiful produce of Down Under, with a good dose of that chilled out Southern Hemisphere vibe.

Kiwi & Roo are proud to announce that all profits from the supperclubs will go directly towards supporting victims of the recent New Zealand terrorism attacks. Christchurch holds a special place in the hearts of both women who have both lived in, and visited the city, and they feel passionately about supporting the community in its recovery from these attacks.

The supperclubs also take place over ANZAC Day (25th April), a special day for Australians and New Zealanders to stop and remember the courage and sacrifice of their "diggers" during the First World War.

Inspired by this strong spirit of comradery between their homelands, Fi and Lara are excited to celebrate the best of Antipodean cuisine and what their two countries can do in the kitchen together.

Kiwi & Roo are also delighted to work with some exciting Kiwi and Aussie food and drink suppliers to support this special cause, with more details to be announced soon.

Tickets are £45 which includes a welcome cocktail on arrival, canapés, seasonal four-course tasting menu and take home goodie bag.

A selection of Australian and New Zealand wine and beers will also be available to buy on the night.

Drinks and canapés will be served from 7pm, with the sit down feast beginning at 7.30pm sharp.

Menu details to be announced soon.

Please note, we will do our best to cater for specific allergies and dietary requirements but if you have a specific request please contact us before purchasing your ticket. Unfortunately, we cannot cater for any last minute dietary requests on the day.

To stay informed about all of our supperclubs and catering, sign up to our mailing list at www.kiwiandroo.com/contact or follow us on Instagram and Twitter.

We look forward to seeing you there!

FAQ

  • I have not received my ticket via email. What should I do?

The first thing to do is check your spam/junk filters and inboxes. Your tickets were sent as an attachment and can be thought of as spam by some email services. Alternatively, you can always find your tickets in your Billetto account that you can access in the browsers or the dedicated Billetto app. For more help with this, read here.

  • I wish to cancel my ticket and receive a refund. What should I do?

The approval of refunds is entirely at the event organiser’s discretion, and you should get in contact with the event organiser to discuss what options are available to you. To get in touch with the event organiser, simply reply to your order confirmation email or use the "Contact organiser" form on the organiser's profile. For more help with this, read here.

  • I have registered on the waiting list, what happens now?

If more tickets become available you will be notified (by email) amongst others who have joined the list. Purchasing is on a first-come first-serve basis. For more information, read here.

  • Where do I find a link to an online event?

Check your order confirmation page or order confirmation email. Usually, the organiser of the event provides the details in the order confirmation email or they might send you a follow-up email with a link to their online event. You might also want to read the event description on Billetto where an event organiser should describe how to join the event online. For more information on this, read here.

  • What is refund protection and why would I need it?

Refund Protection provides you with the assurance that if unforeseen and unavoidable circumstances interfere with your ability to attend an event you can claim a refund. For more information on this, read here.
