The renowned Kala Chethena Kathakali Company, from Kerala, South India, is bringing the ancient art of Kathakali to London on 11 November at Ripple Centre, 121-125 ripple Road, Barking, IG11 7PB
The event organised by Malayalee Association of the United Kingdom (MAUK) is the first and leading Malayalee community organisation in the UK. In addition to the Kathakali performance our drummers will give a master class in drumming to their group then open the show with a powerful piece of drumming called a Chenda Melam. MAUK will open it`s doors to all and provide an unforgettable experience as Kathakali is celebrated and enjoyed by all.The venue conveniently situated just off the A13 with links to City and Docklands, M25 and A406 and a 5 minute walk from Barking station with underground and rail service links directly into central London.

Kathakali is the classical dance drama of the state of Kerala and
combines storytelling, dance, drama, music, ritual, vibrant costumes and the centuries-old, highly skilled art of make-up called ‘chutti’. The chutti is in the Guinness Book of Records as the most three dimensional make up in the world.

I have not received my Kathakali ticket via email. What should I do?
The first thing to do is check your spam/junk filters and inboxes. Your Kathakali tickets were sent as an attachment and can be thought of as spam by some email services. The approval of refunds is entirely at the event organiser’s discretion, and you should get in contact with the event organiser to discuss what options are available to you.
