Kacey Chambers is a Singer-Songwriter from London. Her extraordinary vocal ability and captivating performances are wowing audiences all over the UK.
Kacey discovered her passion and talent for singing and song-writing at a very young age: She first sung publicly at 7 years old and was performing in a Choir of adults by the Age of 9. Growing up Kacey was highly influenced by the likes of Whitney Houston, Lauryn Hill , Brandy and Bob Marley to name a few.
Kacey decided to work hard to turn her dreams into a reality when she went on to study music at City and Islington College in London and seemed well on her way when she received an offer of acceptance at the prestigious Berklee College of Music in Boston, U.S A. However, due to personal conflicts Kacey decided to defer her entry .
Spurred on, Kacey decided to take her career into her own hands and record Her Debut E.P
Kacey poured her hurt and disappointment into what became a stunning and heart-felt musical offering flowing with soul and power that moves the listener to both hope and tears. The songs on ‘Diary of a Young Lady’, Kacey’s debut E.P, are taken from text in her diary , as she tried to make sense of her identity, journey and place in the world.
'Diary of a Young Lady' Received thousands of listens within the first 24 hours of release and continued to build momentum as a result , with features In Magazines including Empire Radio Magazine, Radio interviews with stations such as Westside FM and Music reviews by Websites XSNoize & Ground Sounds.com
Fast forward to 2016 Kacey has finished recording Her Second E.P 'Through These Eyes' with long-term friends & collaborators at Feranmi Oguns & Rohan Budd of OL Music after the success of the First E.P .
Kacey Released The first Single 'Let it Go'' Premiered by the 405 on May the 27th 2016 which received massively positive reception worldwide .
Kacey is Currently gearing up for Her First headline show & the launch of her New EP on October 2nd 2016
