A West London based singer/songwriter that prides himself on being a little different. Under the guise of experimental acoustic folk Mikhail Daken has crafted a sound that is unique, inviting and engaging. By effectively combining emotive lyrical content with dynamic acoustic soundscapes Daken demonstrates the purity that comes from a synergistic chemistry between artist and instrument.
"I wish to create complete stories in these songs, try to find the right balance of what a song needs sonically to best convey the themes or exemplify the feelings that went into its writing - I just want try to write honest music".
