JustThis and Kaleidoscope invite you into the dark, otherworldly horror stories and bone shaking electronica of LAXMI. Using found sounds and samples from London's soundscape, they serve up massive bass lines and epic hooks. We celebrate the launch of their latest EP:
'Rules Made By Men Who Never Sleep' at the Servant Jazz Quarters well-stocked art deco bar.
They'll be joined by some special guest sonic adventurers...

EMPEROR YES
The project of musicians Adam Betts (Three Trapped Tigers), Ash Gardner (House of Strange) and Hugo Sheppard (Summer Camp). The band plays loud and distorted synth pop songs about animals,space, and most things people don't normally sing about. Absolutely bonkers brilliant, mind warping magical music!
BREATHING SPACE
Create soundscapes with choral voices, and found sounds. We fuse voice, technology, place and myth to release delight and disruptive power. We combine contemporary and classical musical elements. Our sound is ethereal, ritualistic and hypnotic.
