Description
“I am very comfortable with the support that we give to Israel.” David Lammy, UK Foreign Secretary, 2 Sep 2024
Are you comfortable with that?
Join us for a vital discussion with MPs from three nations and experienced Parliamentary campaigners on how we can strengthen MPs’ challenge to Government policy on Palestine and how we can influence our MPs to act on priority issues like the upholding of international law and recognition of Palestinian statehood.
Why now?
Anxiety about Israel’s actions has never been more widespread in Westminster, yet the pro-Israeli narrative dominates. We must encourage our MPs to regain the narrative for justice for Palestine, target their influence, and give them strong public support.
Event highlights
Panel discussions, including an exploration of techniques to influence MPs and a discussion of current priorities for targeted MP action.
Live audience voting to identify the priorities of attendees. We will discuss the creation of a toolkit for campaign groups on influencing their MPs and a plan to mobilise campaign groups across the UK to empower MPs on priority issues.
Confirmed Speakers
Brendan O'Hara MP (SNP)
Carla Denyer MP (Green)
Ben Lake MP (Plaid)

This is a great opportunity to strengthen parliamentary campaigning and ensure that MPs are bold in speaking out for justice for Palestine in Parliament.
Join us and be part of designing a new, strong, and targeted campaign.
