Description

JESTER JESTERS is an intimate night of comedy jokes held every Monday downstairs at The Betsey Trotwood, 56 Farringdon Road.

On Monday 28th January 2019 we'll be indulging in nostalgia.

Each act will be dusting off fantastic material, which they had to reluctantly retire due to the zeitgeist changing / news events changing / fewer people getting the references / etc.

Come along and witness hilarious sets - which you won't see them doing anywhere else - from fantastic comics. And it's pay-what-you-want!

Featuring:

Jamali Maddix

Jamali Maddix is one of most promising and exciting acts to hit the circuit in years.

As seen on 'Live from the Apollo' (BBC1), 'Hate The Thy Neighbour' (Viceland) and coming up in his own Channel4 series.

Rick Kiesewetter

“Kiesewetter has plenty of national stereotypes to play on, but he soon steers clear of nationality clichés to deliver punchy observational gags about the little things that annoy everyone.”
Bruce Dessau, Evening Standard

Lucy Frederick

Jean-Baptiste Mazoyer

Il se lance ensuite dans le one-man show et le stand-up qu'il pratique en français ainsi qu'en anglais2. Depuis 2015, il fait aussi de la radio et en 2016, il écrit un livre, Comment devenir un père presque parfait.

Faye Treacy

"Simultaneously childish, genius and inescapably memorable... one of the most unique performances you’ll see in the Fringe this year." Shortcom ★★★★ (and a half)

Linus Lee

Dark comedy from a man who can do a surprisingly good Michael McIntyre impersonation.

Jonny Gillam

Surrealist comic with three Edinburgh Shows under his belt: ‘Ahab; Or what if Moby Dick were Stand-up Comedy’ (2018 solo), ‘More News From Nowhere’ (2016 with Dan Offen) and ‘Snakes’ (2017 with rotating guests).

This week's host - Jonathan Hearn (he might even do his 2012 Olympics bit)

FAQ

  • I have not received my ticket via email. What should I do?

The first thing to do is check your spam/junk filters and inboxes. Your tickets were sent as an attachment and can be thought of as spam by some email services. Alternatively, you can always find your tickets in your Billetto account that you can access in the browsers or the dedicated Billetto app. For more help with this, read here.

The approval of refunds is entirely at the event organiser’s discretion, and you should get in contact with the event organiser to discuss what options are available to you. • Where do I find a link to an online event?

Check your order confirmation page or order confirmation email. Usually, the organiser of the event provides the details in the order confirmation email or they might send you a follow-up email with a link to their online event. You might also want to read the event description on Billetto where an event organiser should describe how to join the event online. For more information on this, read here.
