The Jameson Irish Whiskey's 'Sunday Senses' season at Dalston Roof Park will close on Sunday 15th September with a programme designed to excite the gourmet palates via a series of experimental treats focusing around the sense of TASTE and an extravagant feast designed especially for the occasion. The feast is part of Urban Food Fortnight.
The afternoon will start at 3pm with a lavish lunch designed in collaboration with local restaurant and Young British Foodie nominee,The Russet. This one-off rooftop dining experience will take the form of a delicious feast of Jameson inspired, British and European influenced dishes made from local, seasonal ingredients. The food will be arranged to represent the five elements of taste - salty, bitter, sour, sweet and umami – taking palates on a thorough sensory journey.
Bompas & Parr protégés The Robin Collective will add a playful touch to the experience with their signature playful takes on all things food, including flavour tripping marshmallows and supertaster testing (and more surprises!).
Music will be provided by The Vinyl Library and you will be able to select the records you want to hear while you eat.
Each lunch ticket will include a complimentary Jameson cocktail created for Sunday Senses by Background Bars.
Your ticket will give you access to:
The Russet's TASTE Feast (please ensure to arrive to the venue before 3:30pm)
The Robin Collective Flavoursome surprises
Complimentary cocktails and priority access to whiskey tastings
Resident DJ Shamos (NTS) will bring the party to the roof top for an evening of dance beats from 6pm onwards (open to all).
Fear not! We will ensure the roof remains warm in case of grey weather.
