Lovers of all things Nordic get ready - the Ja Ja Ja Festival is returning to London.
Presenting the best in music, food and film from Denmark, Faroe Islands, Finland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden - this year the event will run across two venues, with extended editions of the acclaimed Ja Ja Ja club night taking place at The Lexington (on November 13th & 14th) before a special all-day performance at Queen Mary University of London's historic The Great Hall (on Saturday November 15th) headlined by Emiliana Torrini.
Other top acts from the region include When Saints Go Machine, Jenny Wilson, Sumie, Death Hawks, Highasakite and Asbjørn, while festival goers can also expect cutting edge cuisine from award-winning chef Antto Melasniemi as well as a special screening of BJÖRK: BIOPHILIA LIVE and a programme of videos from the Nordic Music Video Awards*.
Quite simply, the Ja Ja Ja Festival is the closest UK audiences can get to that famed “Nordic cool” without reaching for their passport.
