Nearly a year and a half after the scheduled album launch for their second album, BREAK THE DAWN, iyatraQuartet will be performing LIVE and IN PERSON after their several livestreamed events. “one of the most exciting new music groups around”, iyatraQuartet have captivated audiences with their original, boundary-bending music for violin, cello, bass clarinet and percussion, flavoured with “dizzy Balkan revelry” and hints of plainchant and Indian raga. These award-winners dream up pieces of acoustic music and songs each as unclassifiable and varied as the last. In this year when we are again marking the Mayflower anniversary year, their name is apt: 'iyatra' is 'travel' or 'pilgrimage' in Hindi. Visit their website: http://bit.ly/2NJFUd4
