Description
This course is designed to prepare the student for further studies in Islam through structured learning of the fundamentals. Ideal for those who want to study more but feel they have gaps in their knowledge and/or don't know where to start.
Structured along the foundational beliefs of Islam using coursebook ‘Gift for the Seeker’ this course gives students an in depth understanding of the essential tenets of the faith: Core Beliefs of the Muslim (Aqeeda) and the 5 Core Obligations of the faith (fiqh of the fard al ayn).
Each student will receive as part of the course the course text ‘Gift of the Seeker’ based on the hadeeth of the angel Gabriel in which our faith is presented to us in its full form.
The course will be taught by Ustadh Yaseen who is loved by his class for providing a fun and engaging environment to learn in. You can also choose to join the class online from wherever you are by Skype.
Length of Course: 2 years (starting on September 4th 2018 or October 5th 2018)
Time Requirement: 2.5 hours a week (One Evening per week)
Online Attendance: You can join either of the class times below via Skype.
- Peterborough Time: Tuesdays. 7.30pm-9.30pm.
- Peterborough Location: TBC (central)
- Leicester Time: Fridays 8pm-10.30pm
- Leicester Location: Darul Arqam, Thurmaston Lane
- Cost: £250. This can be paid in instalments or in one payment. The £25 payable here is your deposit.

I have not received my ticket via email. What should I do?
The first thing to do is check your spam/junk filters and inboxes. Your tickets were sent as an attachment and can be thought of as spam by some email services. Alternatively, you can always find your tickets in your Billetto account that you can access in the browsers or the dedicated Billetto app. For more help with this, read here.

I wish to cancel my ticket and receive a refund. What should I do?
The approval of refunds is entirely at the event organiser’s discretion, and you should get in contact with the event organiser to discuss what options are available to you. If more tickets become available you will be notified (by email) amongst others who have joined the list. Purchasing is on a first-come first-serve basis. For more information, read here.

Where do I find a link to an online event?
Check your order confirmation page or order confirmation email. Usually, the organiser of the event provides the details in the order confirmation email or they might send you a follow-up email with a link to their online event.
