Description
IOSONOUNCANE, one of the most surprising and elusive talents from his country, is taking his acclaimed DIE album on a European tour.
DIE, Album of the Year 2016 in Italy, was conceived as a sort of sound story about a man lost at sea and a woman looking from the shore, worrying for his life.
The timeless theme of life and death (Die meaning Day in Sardinian) finds a very contemporary expression in this work that plays with contrasts, warps voices, intertwines styles and mixes genres with spectacular results.
IOSONOUNCANE has already showed his restiveness during his celebrated 2016 solo electronic tour, but in the current MANDRIA tour, accompanied by the band, he now mixes electronic music with psych folk and rock to vindicate himself as one of the great visionaries of today.
The artist will play The Finsbury in London on May30th as part of his European tour (Berlin, Munich, Bruxelles, Paris and Barcelona Primavera Sound Festival).
