    Description

This workshop is an introduction to the meaning and process of Zoopharmacognosy: a process by which animals self-medicate and naturally forage for herbs, essential oils of plants, algae and clay, to help with their healing process.

During the workshop, Susan Brook will show you how to use essential oils and macerates safely and effectively on your own horses for their general wellbeing. You will learn how and why essential oils are so effective and how to read your horse's response towards the oils that are offered.

This will be a full day if discussion, demonstration and interaction, with all oils, information and guidelines for home use included. We will be working with Glint's horses and ponies, so you only need to bring yourself and a packed lunch.

Cost: £70pp including refreshments - please be aware that Sue will be making a donation of £10 to Glint for every ticket sold.

Please note: The price for our clinics is set to cover costs of clinicians, arena hire, etc, not to make a profit. Therefore, to ensure we are able to cover costs, clinic fees are non-refundable, unless you are able to find someone to take your place.
