Description
Introduction to Peer Support is designed to prepare people with lived experience of poor mental wellbeing, mental illness or addiction to be employed in peer support roles and support others in their recovery. It will not only explore the knowledge, skills and experience required to be in a peer support role but will also contribute to our own understanding of recovery.
The Introduction to Peer Support course is designed to
• Explore the development of the recovery approach in mental health
• Explain peer support and its role in recovery, boundaries and relationships
• Explore peer support values and how they can help support people into and through recovery and challenge stigma.
This session will give you an overview an encourage you to explore whether Peer Support is something you want to pursue. Why not come along and explore this with us.

I have not received my Introduction to Peer Support ticket via email. What should I do?
The first thing to do is check your spam/junk filters and inboxes. Your Introduction to Peer Support tickets were sent as an attachment and can be thought of as spam by some email services. I wish to cancel my Introduction to Peer Support ticket and receive a refund. What should I do?
The approval of refunds is entirely at the event organiser’s discretion, and you should get in contact with the event organiser to discuss what options are available to you. Where do I find a link to an online event?
Check your order confirmation page or order confirmation email.
